About Us
Suzanne M. De Lucia CBI,
Fellow of the IBBA - President/Managing Broker
Ms. De Lucia
has been a business broker in Colorado since 1986. Prior to
that, she spent six years as a chemical engineer and several
years in sales and marketing as the owner/operator of a small
distribution business. She holds an MBA from the University
of Northern Colorado with an emphasis in Management, as well
as a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Colorado,
and a BS in Biology from the University of Denver. Suzanne
has been selected as a Fellow
of the International Business Brokers Association,
the association's highest honor. She has also earned the IBBA's
Certified Business Intermediary. Suzanne has served as
the Secretary of the IBBA Board of Directors, as Vice-Chairman
of the National Membership Committee and as Vice-Chairman
of the Education Committee. She is a founding member
of the Colorado Association of Business Intermediaries,
where she is a Past President and Past Chairman of the Education
Committee.
Paul W. Chambliss CBI
- Vice-President/Broker
Mr. Chambliss
has been a business broker in Colorado since 1992. His previous
background includes 14 years in the homebuilding industry.
For six years, Paul was the Denver Division Manager, then
the Vice President and Construction Manager for Wonderland
Custom Builders, a custom homebuilder located in Boulder.
Paul brings real estate knowledge and property management
experience to the office. He is an honors graduate of the
University of Colorado with a BS in Finance and a BA in French.
Paul has earned the
Certified Business Intermediary designation from the International Business Brokers Association.
He is an annual contributor to BIZCOMPS and Pratt’s
Stats, which are national databases of Guideline Private
Company sales statistics. He is also an active member of the
Colorado Association of Business Intermediaries,
where he serves as the Vice-President of Communications and
the Chairman of the Website Committee. His other affiliations
include the Commercial Brokers of Boulder and the Boulder Chamber of Commerce.
Michael H. Marks CBI, Fellow of the IBBA
- Broker Associate/Denver Office
Mr. Marks is a Certified Business Intermediary with thirty-six years of business experience and ownership. He is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Colorado and has been selling businesses for over sixteen years. Michael is a Past President and a founding board member of the Colorado Association of Business Intermediaries and an active member of the International Business Brokers Association. He is the author and instructor of an 8 hour educational course for members of the IBBA entitled "Effective Negotiations for the Business Broker" and has presented this course in Denver, Tampa, Ft. Lauderdale, Phoenix, Reno and Dallas. Michael
has been selected as a Fellow of the International Business Brokers Association,
the association's highest honor. Since his initial sales and marketing training with the Maytag Co., Michael has owned and operated ten companies in widely diverse industries including printing, manufacturing, distribution, retail, and mail-order. Michael holds a BS in Business Administration with a specialty in Marketing from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He has served as an Army Artillery Battery Commander in the Republic of South Korea.
Thom Beckett CBI
- Broker Associate/Breckenridge Office
Mr. Beckett is
a Certified
Business Intermediary and a former small business owner
of 10 years. He brings twenty-five years of business experience
with him, including four years in the corporate world. With
a B.S. in Marketing and a Colorado real estate license, he
focuses exclusively on business transactions and associated
commercial real estate. From high atop the Ten Mile Range
in Breckenridge, he serves the central Colorado mountain corridor,
focusing on the counties of Summit, Eagle, Park, Lake and
Grand. An active member of both the Colorado Association of Business Intermediaries
and the International Business Brokers Association,
he participates in both his profession and his community.
Specializing in hard work, he brings a great deal of enthusiasm
and energy to the success of your transition. His passion
for business is rivaled only by his love for cycling.
Matt Williams
- Broker Associate/Boulder Office
Mr. Williams is the newest member of the Front Range Business team, where his background in finance and experience in transaction management are ideally suited for business brokerage. Prior to joining FRB, Williams worked as a commercial real estate broker in Newport Beach, California, specializing in the representation of tenants in lease transactions, acquisitions and dispositions. While attending the University of Colorado at Boulder, he was a voting member of the University of Colorado Finance Board, which managed a $12 million budget derived from student fees. Williams was also President of the Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity. Williams obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from CU Boulder.
